Wa He Lut Indian School has been invited to visit the Classic Foundry in Seattle on Saturday, April 18, 2026. This is a special opportunity to tour the facility where the Billy Frank Jr. statue is being completed. This visit will also serve as a makeup school day. All students, families, and staff are welcome to attend.


Students will be picked up at their regular time and eat breakfast at the school before loading onto buses for the trip to the Foundry. Please note that only Wa He Lut students and staff can ride the buses. Lunch will be provided for students. Families who wish to join the visit are welcome but will need to provide their own transportation to the Classic Foundry.


Parents or guardians may check their students out at the Foundry and take them home afterward if they choose.
